LO-FI CONCEpts
This is a collection of personal lo-fi sports experiments, made as a way to push ideas quickly without over-polishing them. Each piece starts from a moment, a player, a phrase or a bit of footage that already has a feeling inside it, then I build around that with cut-out movement, texture, type, timing and a slightly rougher visual language.
The “Sad Saka” edit above was the first one where it clicked. It felt less like making a clean sports graphic and more like finding a mood - something raw, emotional and immediate.
That piece went on to resonate beyond personal work and ultimately led the studio to be commissioned by World Rugby to create a recovery-focused piece for Emma Wassell (as shown above), with the tone of it being a key reference the studio responded strongly to.

LO-FI CONCEPTS
These concepts were made without a fixed brief - more like quick lab pieces for testing tone, pacing and texture. Some lean into nostalgia, some into collage, some into pure momentum, but they all came from the same instinct: finding a rawer way to make sport feel emotional and immediate.
